The founder was brought up in the City of Weavers, a place known for its rich textile heritage, skilled artisans, and generations of craftsmanship. Growing up surrounded by looms, fabrics, and handmade artistry built a deep respect for quality, detail, and the human effort behind every product. This early influence continues to shape Vandecore’s design philosophy today.

What began as an appreciation for craftsmanship evolved into a vision—to build a brand that blends traditional textile techniques with modern design while remaining affordable and practical for everyday living.

Vandecore started as a hands-on venture, selling directly to customers through local markets in Vancouver. These experiences shaped the brand’s foundation around quality, transparency, and meaningful customer connection—values that remain central to Vandecore.

As the founder, I remain closely involved in product design, material selection, and production. By working with skilled weavers, artisans, and our own manufacturing setup, Vandecore ensures consistent quality, ethical practices, and value-driven pricing across all collections.
